GALATI FAMILY

What does "capturing memories" mean, other than being a photography cliche? For me, it's capturing moments as they come and your family as they are, in this exact moment. During a session, I frequently see parents and grandparents trying to get a kid to smile at me the whole time. Granted, I do typically like to knock out a few of the posed "everyone smile at me on three" photos, but for the most part, my photography style is based on letting you be yourself. I take great care in making sure each person feels comfortable to be themselves in our time together, and want the photos to reflect that.

For the Galati family, that looked like playing by the water with their little girl, letting what was making her happiest be what led the direction of our session. Each family is unique, and always results in no two sessions looking the same. My favorite part of that, is that also ensures no two photos look the same. Each photograph has its own memory to hold onto, unique to the family in it. This is the idea that my entire From, Rayna brand rests on.. that each photo is a love letter.
